Few days before a Young mother Committed Suicide along with her 05 Year and 03 Year sons due to hunger and misery in Chakwal District Village Chak Bhaun which shows how civilized we are.
Islam teaches us about our neighbours rights, according to teachings of Islam we should remain careful for our neighbors as much we are for ourselves. But few decades spoiled our society so badly we don’t bother whether our surrounding people are surviving with hunger, misery and despair.
Now a days everyone is in rush for name, fame and wealth. The highlighted incident depicts curse of the society towards poverty. Society moral values dimming day by day but question rise who is responsible for this curse? Its’ almost 75 Years of Country’s Birth still we have education system with no directions for Youngsters who are a pivotal part of society, other big institutions responsible for building of a civilized society are Leaders and Media but unfortunately both are damaging the society’s moral values as well.
We are heading towards self-centeredness even we don’t bother if a person is expiring due to an accident our responsibilities changed nowadays rather to save him we emphasize on making mobile videos for social media. Teachers are builders of a Nation but unfortunately they have become merchants and traders of education.
If every one of us will follow basic teachings of Islam we can change our society and will become a civilized nation. With closing quote of Oscar Wilde, “Most People are the other People, Their Thoughts are someone Else’s Opinions, Their Lives a Mimicry, Their Passion A Quotation”.
